2nd & 3rd Shift - CNC Set-Up Operator
Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 8-hour shift. 3rd Shift: Monday thru Thursday, 10-hour shift.
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour (plus shift differential)
Midland Plastics takes pride in our CNC Machinists! You are a vital part of our business. We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists who have an eye for detail, enjoy running multiple machines and are “quick change artists." If you enjoy working with state-of-the-art equipment and have experience with vertical mills, routers, robotic arm and turning centers, this is the position for you.
In addition to the normal responsibilities of a CNC Set-Up Operator, you will also:
· Read & understand M&G Code - then offer more efficient ways to increase productivity on the machine.
· Operate all tasks required on multiple machines including first article inspections.
· Review blueprints/set-up sheets and adjust to make the first part, and every part, the right part.
· Use a caliper, read a tape measure, and compute simple fractions to decimals.
