Thermoforming Setup Operator (2nd Shift)

Overview

At Midland Plastics, our Thermoforming Set-Up Operators work directly with our advanced, state-of-the-art thermoforming machinery, performing setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting. We’re looking for a skilled, dependable individual to join our team and play a vital role in producing high-quality parts that meet strict customer and production standards. In this fast-paced environment, your attention to detail, technical ability, and commitment to doing things right the first time will make a direct impact on our performance, quality, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do:

• Set up and adjust thermoforming machines according to production requirements

• Perform tool changes and machine calibrations

• Monitor production runs for quality and consistency

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly

• Comply with all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulations (OSHA, local, and company-specific)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3 years minimum of thermoforming and plastics experience

• 3 years minimum of 5 axis CNC setup experience

• Ability to edit CNC programs using offsets and G & M codes

• Fork truck operation experience preferred

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
