Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Overview

At Midland Plastics, our Machine Operators work directly with our advanced, state-of-the-art thermoforming machinery. We are looking for someone who is willing to grow and learn in the position to perform skilled setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting. If you take pride in precision, enjoy problem solving, and thrive in a fast paced environment, this is your chance to be part of something bigger. What You’ll Do:

• Set up and adjust thermoforming machines according to production requirements

• Perform tool changes and machine calibrations

• Monitor production runs for quality and consistency

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly

• Follow all safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe, productive work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

• Basic math and measuring skills

• Minimum of 3 years of machine operator experience

• Please note, if you are interested in 2nd shift, you must be willing to train on 1st shift.

• Forklift experience preferred

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. (and occasionally up to 70 lbs.)
