Are you a relationship-builder with a passion for solving customer challenges and driving business growth? Join Midland Plastics, Wisconsin’s premier custom plastics company, as an Inside Sales Representative. In this B2B-focused role, you’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver custom plastic manufacturing and distribution solutions while partnering with our outside sales team to help bring in and close new business.
What You’ll Do:

Proactively engage potential and existing B2B clients via phone and email to promote our plastic manufacturing and distribution services

Qualify leads and seamlessly hand them off to the outside sales team for further development and closing

Serve as the primary contact for quotes, orders, product specs, and customer inquiries

Collaborate with engineering, production, logistics, and outside sales to ensure a smooth customer experience

Manage transactional sales cycles from initial inquiry through order placement and follow-up
-
Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM, tracking sales activities and customer interactions
-
Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and relationship expansion

Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to help identify growth opportunities

Participate in ongoing product training, internal meetings, and industry trade shows
Qualifications
-
3 Years minimum of inside sales experience
-
Associates degree in sales, business, or marketing preferred, but not required
-
B2B inside sales experience in plastic manufacturing, extrusion, or distribution; knowledge of plastic materials, processes (e.g., thermoforming, machining), and applications is a plus.

Results-driven with a focus on hitting sales targets and developing long-term customer relationships

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and follow-through
-
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative sales and support team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
