CNC Setup Operator - 3rd shift

Overview

The CNC Set Up Operator is responsible for the fabrication of plastic products, applying knowledge of plastic to setups, cutting techniques, using precision instruments, hand tools, machines and equipment in order to produce parts on time and according to customer and production standards.

 

What You Will Do:

• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines
• Review blueprints and set-up sheets to make parts according to customer specifications
• Make adjustments and tooling offsets as needed
• Determine most efficient machine operation methods to maximize productivity and collaborate with Continuous Improvement leaders
• Perform first article inspections and collaborates with Quality Control to ensure high quality parts are produced
• Utilize gauging equipment to check parts and properly set up area near machine.
• Load and unload material using safe lifting practices
• Comply with all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulations (OSHA, local, and company-specific)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3 years minimum years of related CNC operation experience

• 1 year minimum of CNC setup experience

• Ability to read blueprints

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly

Hours: 3rd Shift | Monday - Thursday | 7:00 pm to 6:00 am
