2nd Shift - CNC Set-Up Operator

Overview

CNC SET-UP OPERATOR – 2^nd Shift

Schedule: 2:00pm – 12:30 a.m.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour (plus $1 shift differential)                                                                    

Midland Plastics takes pride in our CNC Machinists! You are a vital part of our business. We are looking for experienced CNC Machinist on 2nd shift who has an eye for detail, enjoys running multiple machines and is a “quick change artist."  If you enjoy working with state-of-the-art equipment and have experience with vertical mills, routers, robotic arm and turning centers, this is the position for you.  Enjoy three-day weekends by working four 10-hour days!

Qualifications

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the normal responsibilities of a CNC Set-Up Operator, you will also:

·         Read & understand M&G Code - then offer more efficient ways to increase productivity on the machine

·         Operate all tasks required on multiple machines including first article inspections

·         Review blueprints / Set-up sheets and adjust to make the first part, and every part, the right part

·         Use a caliper, read a tape measure, and compute simple fractions to decimals

Job requires HS graduate (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and 3 years of machining experience required.
