SUMMARY – Starting by pulling material to be cut from the racks, a saw operator then loads it onto the saw and verifies that said material and thickness is correct per instructions prior to cutting.  Operator determines the proper way to cut material to maximize yield; programs saw in accordance to cutting instructions.  Once first piece is cut, it is checked and measured to verify correctness and then the run is finished.  Operator unloads cut pieces onto skid or into boxes; reports & confirms size and quantity of material used on order.  Finally reports quantity of pieces cut and returns unused materials to rack or shelves.

  •  Uses table or panel saw to cut plastic
  •  Uses tape measure to measure within 1/32” and all larger fractions of an inch
  •  Works with dial or digital calipers to measure accurately to .000” length width thickness O.D. and I.D. and depth
